The value in this story for ALS patients is the expression ' . . . from early May through August . . .' health officials tried to determine where the HAV came from: in this case about four months passed before viable hypothesis was found. Of course, Health officials remain absent a plausible conclusion regarding where the ALS disease agent(s) are sourced.
