Default check this out for me please!!!

Hi All.

Alan found me this nice thing. It's called a netbook.

I think it's a mini-laptop.

Is there a difference? It has all the features I need. It's $199.00 and I can afford it.

Can I buy a router, hook it up to my Westell Modem (which is for my HP Media Center), then I can have the netbook in my kitchen?

Can I do this with this netbook?

thanks, Melody

check it out for me.

Here's the link

did you see the part that you have to sign up for an at&t plan for 2 yrs to get that price? It's right below the rebate info.

[Rebate requires activation on a $40 or higher DataConnect rate plan on a two year service agreement. ]

I did a quick search and they are more or less mini laptops, a little less cpu power and less power consumption {battery usage}, smaller hard drives etc.

I think aimed more for students and business travelers - less bulk to carry around.

online prices and more info about laptops under 290.00

now is probably the back to school sales, another good prices time will be after the holidays.

I knew there had to be a catch.

Someday I will get a router, and a laptop.

Until then, I have to grab my computer time when Alan goes to bed.
lol
