Default Link link, who's got the link?

There is something on ebay I wanted to show someone. She said "send me the link to it".Dummy as I am, I didn't know how to do it. Would you show me how it is done so I can send someone a link in the future?
Thank you, Doodle bug7

Lightbulb

at the top of your internet page, there is an address that is the location for the page you are viewing. It is next to the housey, you click on for "home". You highlight this address by one left click on its beginning, then hit edit above, and select copy... and then go to the place you are typing (email or whatever)...place your
cursor where you want the address to appear, and go to edit and hit "paste"

Keystrokes for this are control +c == copy
Control + v for paste. (some find this quicker).

For example the address to this thread is :
