Default Hi dona

I also have left, returned, left, returned, left, returned, and if Im not a good boy...well, who knows. A lot of the old mgh crowd are still here. Some of them still have the same names, while some have taken on new names to protect the guilty...er...innocent.

In the night, from the empty corridors that we used to pack one could hear a haunting cry, "Come back dona, come back." Left unanswered, the cry would fall to the floor,
only to be swept the next morning out the door.
With a shuffling gait, head hung low,
a lonely voice would mumble, "one n dona, where did you go?"
Pegleg, Paula, Greg, AJ and even ol' cs
hung around to help relieve the stress.
There were many others, of this I'm sure,
but the numbers became fewer and fewer.
As time marched on new folk were lured
by some very caring folk who endured.
So welcome back, admission is free,
This message is from michael7733.

thanks for the welcome back guys , yes Scott had the wife named c and they ended up haveing 3 babies last I heard about a year ago and michal you used to get yourself in as much trouble as I did way back when lol I just hid better promise to stay in touch this time and see if he halls will be singing (sounds like there doing a pretty good job )Now off to track down Scott and drag him here if I caN still find him, see you all soon got lots and lots of posts to read good to seeyou michael and glad you still have the same name I see cs and toadie do but lots and lots of new people Nice to see the fourms alive and well but sad to see so many new people who are traveleing the same path we have for so many years. For those who dont know me my husnband was dx over 12 years ago and I would have been so lost without the support and knowledge I got from the wonderfull help I got with all the old parkies and tried to help as many new ones as I could at the time allthough the names are way to many to mention who helped way way beyond what I did

Default Great Kids, Toadie.

Just a note to say what a pleasure it is to see pictures of you and your beautiful children, Toadie. You look so very young!!!

one n dona, you are from before my arrival on the PD scene, so you will not remember me even as B. Myers on the old forum.
Welcome back among us.

Default If only I could keep up...if only I could catch up...

Weeks go by and I don't think of posting. Today I find there are long threads I haven't even seen, and they're too intellectual to skim. Dear friends are national advocates, while I never seemed to find my place in advocacy--oh, well, except for liaison with researchers, participating in research, one-on-one spiritual and personal support to some really wonderful people who let me share their journeys for various lengths of time. I used to be passionate about educating and helping new people here, and could deal (not always well) with the friction, the con games, the pseudo-helpless, all for the sake of just being around and interacting with such wonderful people.

Osteoarthritis with really serious pain nearly took over my life, but three months after my hip replacement and eight years after my PD diagnosis I am doing remarkably well physically, including the loss of 50 Mirapex pounds and more yet being shed. Somehow, though, I can't quite get my oomph back. I must be patient and keep my spirits up.

Got to go to the therapy pool for exercise, my Number One priority, so will try to peek again later. Good to see old faces here.

Jaye
