...a million times and over, yet, if I don't show it, how would that mean anything?

One of the things that we've been teaching our kids is not just to say it, but to DO it...

unfortunately, I haven't done a good job of it myself...

In the past few months, I kept on telling myself, I need to get on here...I know my dear friends here had wished my happy birthday(s). Dear twink even sent me some flowers.
I've gotten emails asking how I had been...

and as much as I screamed inside of me, I MISS YOU GUYS!! I became more afraid of logging on to here, to my emails...and just kept on spiralling down that abyss of emotional hell...

I am so sorry.....I never thought I'd get myself back on this boat again...

my recovery has been, well, hell...

three pneumonias and countless fevers and flus and I was on my emaciating roller coaster...

getting out of bed was hard some days...

luckily, there is a wonderful Spanish Moss hanging by my trunk, keeping me going...otherwise, I think I would've just withered away like these water oaks around here (not the live oaks).

In the past three weeks, I've begun to feel healthier only to get into another kind of "mix" of things...

what I am trying to say is, how can I say I care when I don't act like it. How can I say that I am going to do something when I don't do it?

I owe quite a bit of you folks emails, explanations and mailing (Anne, I still haven't sent out the forms yet, I am so sorry and I promise to get to them by this weekend, no, really, I will).

I am so sorry that I've miss so many folks' pain and sufferings and wish that I was a better friend....I really have been sucky....please know that I hope you are doing better....

and I am not setting a good example for our kids....to not just talk the talk, but walk the walk...

but if I may sincerely reveal this, and that will always be TRUE...that is...I miss and love you guys...

please forgive my absence. There are so much going on in our lives right now. I hope you'll forgive me and will keep moss in your prayers for tomorrow...

It's good to see you Moi. When I don't hear from someone I hope that things are going well and they don't have as much time for an update. You and Moss are much loved here and you shouldn't worry that we feel neglected, we only want the best for you and yours.

When ones plate is as full as yours , care should be shared with yourself and Moss and the children...............conserve your thoughts and care for you and your family.

When you are strong and up to it THEN and only THEN worry for others..[its called self preservation]

It may sound a bit harsh...but when we divide the life energy that gets us out of bed with more and more people, it's impossible to truly cope as an individual.

Selfishness has a part to play in human life [its natures way of recharging our batteries]

The impression you leave on peoples lives will ultimately without daily words explain that you DO CARE but that at that moment in silence ...you are caring for yourself and your family....TRUE friends will always understand that.

As for saying and then doing...............................

its a bit like my theory of 'Thinkers and Doers'....................[just remember some people think for longer]

Its far better to regret trying but failed....than regretting you never tried at all.

I am so glad you're back.

Please never feel badly about being away from the board. Often our health dictates that we that a break. Othertimes, we just don't have the emotional capital to post. Sometimes we just need time to ourselves. NT isn't meant to be a burden, but a safe haven we can come to when and if we feel the need.

You are always such a wonderful poster: full of support and wise advice for others. That takes a lot of energy. I hope you know that it's alright for you to come here when YOU need our help. My friendship is reciprocal and unconditional and I am always happy to listen.

So good to see you here again, Moi. Not a day goes by that I don't wonder how you're doing. Thanks for giving us an update.....and for being so honest about it. That's what true friends are for......bearing your soul and not worrying about how they'll react because you already know that they love you regardless.
