Default Health Insurance

I got a question that will be helpful to me, and others possibly..

How do we, the ones with no health insurance, yet low/no income, get medical/doctor evidence for social security disability due to a mental disability?

I'm at a loss in a corner, searching for a gain with a way to go.

Most cities or towns have county or city facilities thst are free of charge. It may be hard to get into see them the first time of their caseload, but it's worth a try.

I went thru vocation rehab and they paid both my psychairist and psychologist for 2 years for me. Now that I have won my decision they no longer pay. I would look into this.

Thanks for the reply.

What did you have to do in order to get vocational rehab to help you with doctor expenses?

Jay, I'm not sure how HD did it, but I got info by googling vocational reab and the name of my state. It's all federally connected but the specific services offered may differ from state. You can also apply for free or discounted care through your state Department of Mental Health.

What state are you in ?
