Default Aleks - Over here - Welcome

A friend who has just joined NT is wandering about somewhat lost and I wanted to make a "Welcome Mat" for her here. Her name is Aleks. She is an MD from Norway fighting her own battle with PD and should fit in here very well. Now I will wander into the cyber-forest and build rock cairns to lead her here.

At last Rick, am I glad to see you, and with a hat! You are full of surprises!
I have been here several times, felt as lost as Alice in Wonderland. No Mad Teaparty though. I missed an important key. No wonder, I did not read Chemars information in the beginning.
This is huge, die gesamte Neurology. Thank you all for wishing me a good time here.
Now, Rick is this the place where the talk is, about PD that is?
Looking forward to meet you and talk.
Aleks

Default Is this a test for newcomers?

This is entertaining, I could go on and on, but I shall try not to embarasse Rick, my friend.

Hi, Aleks, Welcome to NeuroTalk.

There is a slight time delay in your postings showing up, because they are read by a moderator first. After a few of them and you pass into the regular member queue and there is no delay.

Enjoy your stay here!

Default Believe me.....

There is not a lot you could say here that would embarrass me. It is a good group. A lot of old timers with a bunch of very promising newcomers mixed in. Some are activists and have been demanding a new look at PD for years. Others are researchers (both "lay" and "real") who just might find something important one day. There are writers, dancers, painters, doctors, chemists, biologists, bikers, fishermen, mystics,... We are sitting at keyboards around the world - US, UK, Spain, France, Iraq, Netherlands, and now Norway. Give yourself time then look thru the archives. You can learn a lot there when things are slow. You will fit right in, I think.
