Sunny Autumn day in sunny Queensland. Probably might rain later tonight though. I think it's rained almost every day for the entire year here. What can I talk about? Heck.

Lamb shanks in the slow cooker in my kitchen. You want me to send you some? They sure smell good... poor little lambkins.

Saw the shocking footage of that awful tornado on the news this morning. Gosh, It's horrific. I'm not sure I could deal with that sort of danger, but I guess people just do what they have to do. We get the cyclones/hurricanes in my part but at least we get some warning.

I've missed you and all my friends here. Just been one drama after another this past year. Made me very tired indeed.

There's really nothing in my life worth talking about, I spend most of my time alone and in silence; and when I do finally have someone around to talk to I never have anything to say.

I don't know if you're still around, but there might be someone watching the Sleepless at SOS thread by now. I'm sure that they would be better company then I am.

p.s. thelonely1, I actually "talk" more on a puter than I do person to person. I get a little shy and spend most of my time alone as well. I always have some music on though. I get a lot of comfort from my music. I don't think I've ever really been lonely and have always loved being alone, but lately I have been a lot lonely. Maybe I was just pretending I wasn't lonely??? I dunno

I have my appointment tomorrow with the doctor who will tell me what to do about my cyst. Who knows what she will say. Whatever it is it will be a surprise. I'm tired of waiting for an answer.

Am reading Anna Quindlen's latest book..Every Last One and will finish it today. Recently read The Help and it was excellent imho.

I just woke up, only minutes ago. Checked my email first...had a couple of worthwhile emails, the rest was junk.

Have a Tdoc appointment this afternoon so I should probably go try to wash some of the stink off.....and get dressed. (I'm still in my pajama's)

It looks like another cloudy, rainy day here... but then again... I have blackout curtains and really can't tell for sure.

Wow...do I have some dishes to do!!! Having kids for supper...Sunday Pot Roast! To busy on Sundays so we do the Sunday dinner on any other day.

My son Thomas, who lives with us...is busy with work and semi-pro football and my future daughter in-law and Krista my daughter, who lives through the field in the house I was raised in, is going to the college and working two jobs...need I say more!!

Today is bathe day for my Olhipie so that will take part of the day!! Gotta love that Olhipie!!

The pastor of our church sent out an email yesterday asking for help. Some of the people who go to our church had major tree/tornado damage and was asking for people to help with the clean up. Rick Scott and I decided to do what we could.... after looking at what some of the people's houses looked like, it makes me realize just how thankful I am for Gods protection. That could have very easily been us...
