TODAY Rick and I are going to a funeral of the parents of a guy he works with... apparently it was a double suicide.. sigh..... they were old, and tired of hurting.... What does one say???????

I"ve got to tell you..... the minister did a fabulous job at the funeral today.
He mentioned that he didn't agree with their decision, but said that God is gracious and God still loves them and that he WILL see them in Heaven some day ..... I was so very relieved. hope you guys have a good holiday.

Such good news, Goofy - that's nice.
Early tomorrow morning I'll be at church cleaning then come home to bake cookies. (I've been baking cookies all day today)
Sunday morning will be church, Sunday evening "art lessons" for the church kids and then Sunday evening worship service.
Monday I hope I can make myself sort and file papers ~groan~

Hi Goofy,
So sorry for the losses. Yet, so relieved the minister was compassionate.
Hey Alffe and Tamiloo!
We have lots of different plans and never really know which onoes will get done! We need to change some of them. Our grandmother has broken her hip, so we will definitely see her.
I hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend.
