Hair loss is usually a sign of a vitamin/mineral deficiency. Again, GET TESTED FOR CELIAC DISEASE - if you have a gluten intolerance/sensitivity, your intestines aren't absorbing all of your nutrients, and your body WILL take what it needs from wherever it can get it.....

I just want to echo what Teresa said, and also remind ya, that Prednisone can cause this as well.
I no longer have to shave my under arms, as the hair no longer grows there. However, I have this one chin whisker.... from Prednisone, Not happy at ll about that one!
You can grow hair and lose hair while on Pred.

Boy Tyson, You are really going through it . It is now time to stop . Don't you wish it was that easy?
Love Lizzie

I've always had thin hair, but while on Prednisone (also had radiation for thymoma), I noticed got even thinner. I've been off the Prednisone for 3 months now, so hope it gets a little better.

It seems like you have experienced almost every bad side effect that MG and the meds can cause. You must be some tough guy to handle it all. I know it gets you down at times though. Don't know how I'd deal if I were in your shoes.

Hang tough!

Hair loss is also a typical symptom of Graves' disease (hyperthyroidism). MG and Graves' often go together.

Ditto on what these guys said. Tyson, have you read all the prescribing information for all of your drugs? If not, please take time to do that. You won't get have all of the side effects that are listed, so don't let that bug you. It does help, however, to know what you "might" have from your drugs. And do they have to have the text in such a small size?!!!

Since I have started CellCept, my hair does not grow as fast. I have read somewhere that is a side effect of CellCept.
