Lordty have mercy. I went over the ocean and then under it, but here I am in Sunny Loueeeisannna. My DD had surgery yestidy in Baton Rouge, I drove all night to get here and have been up for 36 hours.

Yeah, I know not smart, but...when babies call you got to answer!! I am now sitting on the ohhh soooo comfy sofa, on her laptop.lol She's sleeping ain't like she's gonna know! She doing fine, but the darned danged kids left the danged darned kitchen in a mess...these are not teen agers!! The youngest is 20...come on. She gets home and mess...I did clean a little but she was having a hissy to leave it til they get home from work.

I did stack the dishes, added hot water, dish detergent...she ain't gonna know...she's sleeping!!! lol
Well the SugarRush is right across the street and the last one 'buys...no kidding, there is a donut shop across the street!!

Take care you little hooligans...I'll check back later.

Now, just where did lil La. Lady say she lived...might sneak up on her, fer breakfast, or to go to De'Ja Vue...yeah...I'll take mine to go please.

Hope your daughter recooperates quickly from her surgery. If you're there with her, it's okay to use her laptop! And when will kids - especially the older ones - learn to clean up?!

Hope your daughter gets well soon! You take care of yourself too!!! Didn't you just spend a long time in the hospital recently?? You take a switch to those kids and get them to clean that house and wait on their momma. Don't make me come down there!

Good to hear from you, Momma. Hope your daughter gets to feeling better real soon. I know it's HOT there in La. so be sure to keep yourself cool and don't overdo it. Let those kids pick up the slack. I know.....easier said than done.

DD had to go back to the Dr this am...she is trying to do too much. She was feeling really bad this morning. When she gets back, she is going to keep her behind in bed!

Good to hear from you. I love the melodic sounds from Louiiisiaana (I don't know the fun spelling...) . I wish your daughter prompt recovery and she is so much better having you there with her.

Not fun to stay up that many hours but, as you said, when your babies call, you go! It sounds just like life. You better go grab a cup of coffee and a delicious doughnut before the police 'confiscate' all of them. Got to have that coffee. I actually wouldn't mind a cup and a doughnut just about now.

I often wonder the same thing: When are the other members of the household going to grow up? Today I was so mad because I am tired of dotting all the i's and crossing all the t's and clean, clean, clean. Why is it that it doesn't stay clean?

My DD is doing fine now and will be staying close to home for awhile.

Two of the boys had to stay in La. but will be leaving this week to come home. My DD said they would eat hamburgers, I said, "I'd be more worried about how the house looks after being there for two weeks." lol

She and my SIL now have the house to themselves since his youngest has moved in with his girlfriend.

I have no clue why one can clean and less than hour later its like...ok, let me do this one more time. I walked in my kitchen this morning and it looks as if someone set off dynamite. I've had a minor sinus infection that put me in bed for three days...how does family make such a mess...oh yeah...they leave it. lol

You babies take care and remember to do something good just for yourself.
