The links show pictures that are more mysterious and magical than any science fiction artist could dream up. Will bring back all of the wonder you had as a child. Makes us realize how unimportant our lives seem in the grand scheme of things.

Hi guys,

I'm an interloper from the RSD forum..but I was looking at "new posts" and this caught my eye - I'm an avid astronomy enthusiast.

Just wanted to say, I always end my day, last thing I do before going to bed, by visiting this site:
http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html

It has an "astronomy picture of the day", different pic every day, so I go to bed with some absolutely amazing image fixed in my brain..always helps to relax me a little.

Thanks for those lovely images,
all the best
