harley, after enduring a particularly difficult day myself, the phrase, "just hang in there" has a hollow ring to it.

I have heard that the Lord doesn't give us any challenges we can't handle, so I guess He thinks we can handle a lot more than WE think we can!

Here's hoping that a good night's sleep will bring renewed courage and determination to you. May God bless you.

Heart Hang tough!

harley

remember that old saying, "The mind can only comprehend what the derriere can endure?" Well, it fits here.

I am not saying that you sit on your derriere and wait for things to happen - quite the opposite. And I empathize with you - we have been fighting for better treatments for many years together (and will grataefully accept a cure!)

What I AM saying is for you especially right now, and everybody else who comes here for support. Your quote says it best: "I have PD; it doesn't have me." write that on a notecard and put it on your mirror (and refrigerator!) at home - put it under the sunvisor of your car (passenger side if you don't drive), and say it out loud several times a day: I HAVE PD; IT DOES NOT HAVE ME!!!

Now believe it - breathe it - and know you can't ggive up now - not after we have been through the worst part.

I love ya - heck, everybody loves ya! Those th at don't, well, let them go find somebody else. YOU are only accepting to hang with folks who care. And when those emotions try to move in on you, kick them in the derriere.

Fiinally, know that you are definitely not alone. It's OK to think about how hard each day gets, but there IS light at the end of that tunnel. You are a believer - and don't forget to reach your hand up and meet God halfway - he always has time for you.

How much is too muc h? When nobody would miss you - and even ifi you think that's true (that nobody would miss you), read that quote again, "I have PD; it doesn't have me!"

Warm fuzzies and a hug,
Peg

Probably, Harley, it's been too much for a long time, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I think it is a clear demonstration of your personal strength of will. A lesser woman would have been done in, but not you. You are what we aspire to, a woman who will not surrender.

I have followed you, read you, recited you for ten years now. I am envious of your talent your tenacity and your stubborn determination to win. You're in a slump just now, but you will recover, just like all the other times, because of your magnificent will to win. You have friends and admirers who are here in the darkness adding our will to yours. Hold on to us and we will all come through.

It is not too much for us.

Default Hi Tamiloo!

Sorry that I haven't met you before. I really liked the carepages' link you gave. But the quote (written in script) was awesome! Simple - yet awesome. Rats! I was going to copy it here, but it doesn't show while I am posting, so I will add it as an edit.

Life is about change; sometimes it's painful; sometimes it's beautiful; most of the time it's both.

Anyway, thanks for your comments.

harley, how are you feeling today?

Peggy
