Hi, Google refers me to some articles, inclusing some in medical journals making the case for Parkinson's being an autoimmune disease. Is it still an open question as to whether Parkinson's is an autoimmune disease? If in fact it is, then I can suggest several things to try that have reduced my autoimmune disease symptoms to zero as long as I practice them, basically a free method to stimulate my immune system , yes stimulates, which perhaps works by also stimulating suppressor immune cells and thus taming, so to speak, my attacking immune cells. or perhaps works by improving the ability of the attacking cells to be able to recognize self. And a few dietary changes that eliminate the foods that rev up the autoimmune process , such as milk and foods cooked in a microwave.

Although not proven scientifically, the immune system is a top contender for involvement in the chaos that is parkinson disease.
A vaccine is being worked on.
