We are heading to Springfield at the end of November to get our medical cannabis bill voted on. It's finally going to happen! We've been working so hard on this and hope to see it passed! If you live in Illinois and want to see the bill pass in person get with me. Our projected day to pull the bill for a vote is November 30th!!

Hmmmm, 22 views but no replies? Is this still a taboo subject? haha Just kidding! We are so excited and cannot wait to stand proud and know we helped make this happen in Illinois. It is the patients, the caregivers, the tiny grass roots that is getting this bill passed! Woot!

I dont live anywhere near you, but am hoping good things for you. The bill has failed so many times here. Even with many good folks pushing for it and all the polls showing folks greater than 75% want it here. Our govenor wont pass it. He is a wonderful man and has done many great things for this state, but just cant see past this issue. His wife is an MD, so that may be coloring his view.

That's so sad Dej, especially with his wife being a MD. Most, not all, MD's I speak with support the use of medical cannabis or at least support it being rescheduled so more research can be funded. Our governor said he will support the bill. We shall see.
