Arrow MO. neurologist fires 20 year PD patient over money?

I could not as a medicaid patient pay the 90 bucks, the receptionist was yelling at me for in an office full of patients?
she told me i couldnt see the neuro until i paid it?
a lady in the office w/ mother / who was alsoa patient offered to pay my bill!
she was censored and told it was none of her business
I couldmt help it - i began to cry?
this is a 3 neuro town - my sister was with me/ as he is her neuro too!
he told me - i was fired
but it would be a shame to fire my sister - who by the way is not a medicaid patient?!!!!
need a lawyer, who knows what - end phases of PD is please...

Dear Lou_lou.

I'm wondering if you might be going through menopause...women describe this experience as dying - i felt excruciating pain and fatigue for months going through it. it might be helpful to consider progesterogenic/estrogenic teas - also alternating heat and cold to your back. you might find that your brain is going through a reboot process and when completed functions will restore.

why fight these uncaring docs? who wants to work for a doc? its the other way around isn't it? we hire/fire them? and we work together even better...a public health clinic might help with assessing hormone balance...your artwork is stunningly beautiful...bbreathtaking! could you trade that for massage therapy? have you seen the website fineartamerica? might be a great venue for you to sell your work? do you have a site where i can go to buy a print?

Much love to you dear- am so glad you are with your sister..and whatt a beautiful gesture by the lady in the clinic.

The only thing allopathic doctors can do ffor PD is prescribe drugs or surgery unlesss you see a functional medicine man who can offer some helpful diagnostic tests (imho) . since your choice of neuros isn't so grreat perhaps there might be an md who practices functional medicine close by?

there is an "ask the doctor" section on the NPF forum. maybe they could answer drug questions you may have

karma will catch up with your doc.

Oh yes, Oh yes, karma will catch up with that doctor. That doctor should be expelled from the health care business. We have enough to cope with, without being bullied by a few heartless, greedy jerks who wormed their way into medical practice because they assumed it would give them the position they want: to act like God and have power over life and death. But God does not act like that at all. Matter of fact, your doctor is already living in hell. Anyone who would mistreat a suffering person the way he mistreated our Lou_Lou is not worth giving the time of day to.
This is where a local posse of PWP is good to have. We do that here sometimes, such as 10 PWP going to a clinic to ask a few questions and express a few opinions about just what is acceptable behavior from a doctor and what is not acceptable. Treat us like human beings or find more suitable employment, doc.
But as Moondaughter said, Karma gonna get that man. Nobody ever gets away with anything, in a lifetime. And Lou_Lou, you have learned more about life than your doctor has, and you just revealed him, because his attitude is entirely unacceptable, and everybody will start to see that now that his actions are visible and being talked about. And thanks for the courage to bring this story out to the public. There are bad things done in dark corners, and Lou_Lou just shined a bright light into one of those dark spots where angels cry.

lou lou,
I am outraged by the treatment yoou have gotten from this rotten doctor. I not only would report him/her to your state medical board but I would be very vocal around town about his treatment to you. Menapause be damned, don't ever use it as an excuse - you have real feelings and real symptoms that should be addressed and not tossed out due to menopause. And then to bill you for services not rendered is mental harassment. Your former doc is not only incompetant, but is a sadist as well. We are all in your corner - hold up your head high and let 'em have it.

Lightbulb dear bob dawson~

your words are very dear to me!
You are very dear to me!
All of the Parkies are very dear to me-
the reason I have to report the doctors is because - I do not one anyone with PD,
or Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer etc - to suffer with illness and then to suffer more!
I was put on all the medications by the doctors!
I never have begged for one single drug, for many years - big pharma was giving free samples to these doctors - and in the 1990's, the reward for the doctors getting you hooked on prescription meds, was a payoff from big pharma, with trips to the Carribean...

So now this is what has happened -
all the doctors are afraid to prescribe - this one med in particular!
the benzodiazepine group - my benzo is klonipin!
my psychiatrist is the only kind of doctor - in this state - that is able to prescribe
it to me, my old neurologist sits on the board of psychiatry, in saint joseph, mo.
I am dependent on a drug - that if I went off of - "cold turkey" i would go into a seizure - and more than likely die!?
and the worst part is - I trusted this doctor!
I thought the doctors were looking out for my well being...

I thank you so very kindly - dear Bob Dawson....
bless you! and peace to your heart!
