Default Jackpot

I won my reconsideration appeal. I got the letter today.
I had a unique situation. I had a brain injury from a car accident in Aug. 08. I was approved for SSDI from then until May 2010 which I received 16 mos. backpay. They said I was "cured" after that, which I thought was odd. I immediatly sent in the reconsideration appeal. It only took about 2 mos. to get approval for my monthly benefits plus a additional 10 mos. backpay.
This must be a good week for approvals, I hope their are more on here.

Yes, to me it was. Your reply was a little sarcastic. I've been living on $178 a month. I can now get a place to live. (I'm using my parents computer).

I'm happy that you have gotten approval for ongoing monthly benefits ptcs.

I don't read any sarcasm in Shell's response, just surprise.....most would qualify jackpot as a huge sum of money and we all know we aren't going to get rich from our monthly SSDI benefits.

That the monthly benefit will allow you to pay for basic living expenses and an apartment is great. I wish you the best. I remember how much of a relief it was when I was approved.
