Good Morning~ I hope you all are doing fine this morning. I'm getting around slower today, but have a hair appointment in a little while. That always perks me up.
 Hows the "D"oing? I weighed this morning and I am the same. As soon as it gets a little warmer I am going to do yard work.  It's getting colder for weekend just as they said. The temp has already droped 20 degrees. Thats hard on a person! Well I have to take a bath so better sign off for awhile.  BC

running late as usual... I have been very good on my "D" and have lost some weight since lent started 10 days ago...not sure if this is water weight or what But I feel good about that. Have a great day and TGIF!!!! ((((HUGS))) bizi my poison ivy is spreading so called the doctor, she is calling in somesteroid pack...oh well

Hi Billie and Bizi,
I am doing good on D so far today. I did laundry today so walking back and forth to the laundry mat was enough for one day. Oh, I also walked to mailbox one block away twice today. I am bushed. My ankle has started to act up again. befuddled21 |

We are having whiteouts...blowing snow. sorry about the poison ivy spreading Bizi.

Hi gang, I am here. Busy day again today but i did get the last word with hubby today. I have had a problem with the dishwasher not emptying the water and I kept saying why don't you look in this hose and make sure it is not clogged up. Well you guessed it --- it was a clog in that hose. So here is the breakdown...
1 service call $89.00 Calling hubby at work and saying I was right and you were wrong --- PRICELESS!!! HA HA HA HA HA If this was before I got hurt I could have taken that hose off and fixed it myself but since half of my body doesn't want to cooperate with me I am stuck with waiting for someone else to do it. That has and still is one of the biggest problems I am having accepting. The fact that I can't do the things I used to do. I was just talking to hubby about this telling him how much it bothers me. I used to haul bricks in the back yard, paint the inside of the house, plant trees...you get the picture and now I can't even turn a screwdriver. Plus it irks me when I get a quote to fix something around here and he sees how much it costs and says he will do it, and usually I can bite my tongue and not say when, after you pick up the broken fence, replace the faucet on the sink, or something as simple as replacing the lightbulb in the hall. ( I am not supposed to get on a step ladder due to vertigo) but other times the tongue has a mind of its own and I can't control it. OK OK Rant off  I feel better already...Sue

Ate out special tonight...my mother-in-law gave us gift certificates to this nice place called the "Bonefish Grill"
Boy was that good! Pino Grigio wine2 glasses, Bang Bang shrimp(lightly fried sessame seed with remulaode sauce) Grilled flounder with citrus, spinach, crab on top. Fresh broccolli, squash, and a half cup of corn crab chowder. Hubby had the searred tuna. We both loved our meals! I am stuffed! First time over eating since 10 days ago...but I will get right back on that horse tomorrow!  bizi

hi billie...cute bear...needed a hug...you have esp???
sue...totaly know how frustrating it is when you can't fix things you normaly could.... gets me so angry about my condition...all the unneccessary money,stress and aggravation it has caused....i'll join in on the margarita...we could all use a break once in awhile it makes this life worth living..... my weight keeps going up cuz they say i don't eat enough....and the little i do is not exactly healthy..plus..with the rsd.vertigo and fibro i have not been exercising as much...afraid of falling & hurting myself more..trying not to let fear rule me..but it is winning... tomorrow is another day..hope it's a peaceful one for us all----linda |
