Default Neuro Psych test today

Getting ready to leave. Have an hour's drive to my 2nd Neuro-Psych test. Boyfriend is driving so I don't have to deal with that. Even though I've been through a 5 hour test in October I'm still nervous about today. I've always been a perfectionist and doing something that I know will show flaws is difficult for me.

I hope you have had a good day doing the tests for your neuro-Psych Assessment. Keep in mind, you are looking for a correct report. That means your flaws will be properly identified.

The results can be used to set the standard for what flaws you can overcome and which one you need to learn to accommodate. Try to look at this as an opportunity to understand yourself and your brain.

For me, it was very helpful. It let me let go of the frustrations of "Why am I messing up?" or "Why can't I remember this?"

Then, you can start working on learning work-arounds.

Well, I just hit a mental wall. Time to go take a nap.

My best to you.

It was only a couple hours (they only redid the parts I had scored bad on before).

Boyfriend took me to eat. Hour drive home. Exhausted.

I go back May 20th to discuss results. Should have written report before then.

Looking forward to a quiet, relaxing afternoon/evening at home.

Slept for 1 1/2 hours. Woke up with horrible headache. Muscle spasms too bad to go back to sleep. It's a good thing I cleared my schedule for the remainder of today and tomorrow.
