Shocked Barking cat video! L O L

This cat is barking like a dog, and when a human approaches him, he switches to meow!

How strange, but too funny. I wonder if, as a kitten, it grew up around dogs barking? It had to pick up that behavior somewhere i would think.

Wink

Some male cats make really strange noises... but from this video it is difficult to see if this is a male or not.

But you know, nothing cats do surprises me anymore! LOL

Default Cat must've grown up near dogs?

I'd had an apartment cat, where his 'birds' were pigeons... He'd make pigeon sounds really well! As kittens, they'll mimic what they see and experience? Thus barking or chirping.
It's what makes each one special. - j

My new kitten, makes all sorts of funny sounds. There is a frustration sound she makes when playing, that is harrrummmmph when she can't get a toy the way she wants.

She also chirps and squeals when happy. When she was really small yet, she would make this Weeeeeee sound when she wanted to play or when I asked her questions...so we named her Weezie. She fetches and I'd ask her... "are you READY?" and she would squeal an answer back to me! LOL I had just read a book with a character "Weezie" in it. So that came to mind. Now my hubby has nicknamed her The Weasel...because she is so fast and sneaks around outside quickly. She seems to like that name too!
