I was kind of surprised this one didn't show up here; it may have in the news forum. These are different from those produced a while back via another method. This bunch is genetically engineered so they can/will pass the trait on to future generations.

That would be handy for those of us who have BLACK cats, because they are invisible in the dark, and can get stepped on!
I would be eerie seeing one of these glow ones walk around at night outside!

I've learned to do a "dark" shuffle and esp on stairs, where Weez tends to hide and wait to surprise us! When she was very tiny still I was so paranoid. I call out.... LOOK out...and she is learning I cannot see. She assumes we can see her as she sees us, I guess?
Hubby did put in sensory lights (motion activated) along the baseboard of the stairs, and that really helped! Now I just have to remember to put my glasses on!
