Default Ssdi decision

Hello everyone, I have not posted in awhile.. just had a quick question that I know cannot be answered but hoping to get a opinion on..I had my ALJ hearing this past sep 15/2011 and I could not wait the 30 to 40 days they tell you too wait to call about the status of the case.I did call the 1-800 number today and the nice lady looked up my case and said a decision had already been made but that she could not open the letter until the 29th of this month because the decision has to be sent out first and she told me to wait alittle longer.now i live in Denver Colorado and i dont know how long usually decisions take. My question is if anyone think it may be a good or bad sign that a decision is going to be mailed so soon after my hearing? or should I take what the lady told me with a grain of salt and not beleive it until i get my letter? thank you for reading this I know this questions are silly but im very anxious and stressed out. Thanks in Advance. Update: I just called disability determination services local Colorado number and the lady told me that a letter had been mailed to me last thursday the 22 of september, so I am alittle confused! are they going to mail it the 29th as told first or has it already been mailed????well im not holding my breath but I will be stalking the mailman!

In my case, this is my own personal experience, I received my letter pretty quickly...it was 2 weeks shorter than what the avg is. What did the vocational expert say?
