Smile SSi and ssdi concurrent back pay

I live in los angeles it is a very fast system out here. I was approved for ssi and ssdi fully favorable award on August 24 2011. I received my award letter on the Sept 6 2011. The SSA despoist my backpay to my bank account on Oct 18 2011.

This was my ssdi backpay, but they took 5000 out of it for ssi not sure why. I will be getting my ssi back pay in 30 days. If you have to wait more then 90 days for your backpay call your local congress office for help. It should not take that long unless you owe the state or workers comp.

Sincerely
Mrs A
