Default Foot neuropathy

My husband was on methadone for 6 years after a near fatal car accident. He decided to go off the methadone which was pure hell and now is experiencing serious foot neuropathy to where it is becoming more and more disabling. He is wanting to deal with this without pain meds and wanting to know exactly what herbs or vitamins he needs to take for any kind of relief. I have read all the different strands on this and not coming up with any definite solutions. Is there help or isnt there????????

Assuming he is in Pain if it was me I wouldnt wait around in Pain whilst trying natural remedies. I would get the pain under control before looking at Vitamin supplements which even if they work will take a while to show any benefit.

say 6-12 months down the track he could taper down the meds to see if supps did anything

If he has injury to the back... supplements are not likely to work.

They only work when one is deficient (low) or when one has
toxic types of neuropathy.

Of course he could have a combination of factors.
So do get some testing done to see if he has low B12 and/or Vit D and also testing for blood sugar levels, thyroid and autoimmune potential. One needs some further information to make a choice on what to use or do.
