Default Appetites, Urges and Food!

Hi All,

Thanks so much for your kind thoughts. I'm doing better tonight but it really is day to day on the pain.

I'm also trying to loose some weight and since we are a weight group, (really?) I thought I would ask them. I've also been lucky in that I've never been on a diet before my body decided to get sick so I'm new to this game of
loosing weight.

First, I have been having urges for yogurt (the fat-free, sugar-free kind) and banana's. Silly, eh? Does it mean my body needs some kind of vitamin or mineral?

Also, my appetite has increased but for the good food-the fruits, veggies, fat free pudding, etc. What does that tell you?

Anyway, I'm loosing weight so that is good but just had these dumb questions.

Take care,
Nancy

Default But froggie, my dear

I feel like I'm wanting to eat all the time now!!! I stopped trying to starve myself and went to eating healthy and more often and now I want MORE! I guess as long as I loose even a small amount each week, I'm ok.

Right???

Hi Nancy....losing the weight slowly is the best way..your body doesn't think you're trying to starve it.

I love asparagus and it's coming into season...not fattening if you braise it with olive oil, fresh rosemary, fresh bay leaves, salt and 3 tbles water. We had that and hamb patty for dinner last night...no bun.

I can diet if my tastebuds will be satisfied...I love to cook.

We both start the day, washing our pills down with DanActive which is supposed to boost your immune system. Mr.Alffe had a horrible case of shingles and couple of yrs ago that left him with nerve ending pain. He says that is gone now...and we wonder if it's the DanActive.

And bananas are so good for you!

Have a great day.

Heart

Dear Nanc,
In the past when ever I started a new diet, I wound up getting a cold, sick feeling. I realised that I wasn't taking vitamins and that I was not drinking enough fluids. So now I drink tons of fluids and usually take vitamins twice a day now extra calcium as I don't drink milk these days.
yes losing it very slowly is the best way to lose weight.
You are doing a great job!!!!
I am rooting for you too!
((((HUGS))))
