Have a salt delivery today and the repairman coming to put a new motor in the dryer. Need to pack...leaving tomorrow for a warm up in Florida. Maybe by the time we get back the grass seed will have sprouted.

I would go to Florida too if I could. I'm so sick of this weather I could scream. I'm back in long johns. Here I had put all my winter things away. I am just desperate to clean my closets, but I guess It will have to wait. Ever since I moved, I have needed arrange things so I could find them. I'm getting to the place I don't even want to anymore.

Next month I will be gone a couple days. It may be no warmer there in Ohio tho than it is here.

morning ladies -
I'm not too frisky today- whacked my foot against the phone cabinet and think my middle toe got broke or cracked!
I managed to break my little toes {left 03 & right 04} so at least it was a different toe LOL.

It is chilly and wet here too - after setting a record 70+ for here last Saturday - of course rain & cold hit on Easter.
April showers for sure -and yesterday gusty winds too.

Hi Everyone I have not posted in a while, but thought I would sneak into day. The last 6 weeks have been creappy for me. Work has been bad. Old client quit after trying to stage a takeover against her boss which failed. So now that she is gone her boss is torturing us (his ad agency and lucky me I am the main contact). So I have been hoop jumping for some time.

Plus, I went to the endo doc and she said my thryoid is out of whack and that I am insulin resistance. Add that to the TOS and RSd pain.

So back on synthroid which I have to say has given me some energy back and time to seriously diet so I do not become full blown type 2 diabetes which runs in my family.

So I wen to a nutritionist and we talked for 1 1/2 hours and wne over all the right foods. So I started on Sunday and was super strict all week and I am down 2 lbs by Friday. Sure some I bet is water weight but I feel better with all this healthy food.

Guess I will now have to change my avatar from a cupcake to apple slices

Good morning almost afternoon , still windy here and I am tired of it!!! I just had my fruit smoothie for breakfast so I hope to get some energy and get some stuff done around here. My daughter's ROTC class is having an awards ceremony tonight so I hope this wind dies down by then.

Still prodding on with this weight loss thing. I am not losing like I would like but I am still not giving up.

Hi Shelley-maybe you can share some eating tips with us that you learn from your nutritionist. I feel alot better now that I am on thyroid pills, she is still tweaking the amount but I have noticed more energy and I can make it through the day without a nap.

I've had a good day except for the news I heard. You already knew about one friend having mouth cancer, her surgery in Monday. Now my beautian's husband has colon cancer. They think they can get it all on both of them. I have been so upset about my farm house I sold for they haven't been doing anything to it. It looks bad for they gutted it out and took up the rugs, & have done nothing to the grass. Well I learned today, he is probably going oversea's. He is a officer for the Natiional Guards. I guess they don't know wheather to live here at the newer home or move her & the kids down here. I know they weren't expecting this. They don't own either home, but have the newest up for sale. This would be bad, for I don't think she could live on the farm by herself. The yard is very large, not to mention the house isn't ready.

I'm putting three of my newest dolls on here. The first is old, second has enough hair for three, & the third I don't like to well. It doesn't have enough hair. Froggie, has a couple made by the same company. I told her she could have it.

Shelley, please come back more and let us know how you are. Some of us have had so much pain, depression, brain fog, you name we got it. We either complain or joke about it...pray for each other....might even say a word or two that has a good meanning... like $%&*#$%^& if it will help (hee, hee) sometimes we will cry with each other. Girl you can't say nothing one of the others here hasn't been through or know someone else that has. So see you can vent, complain or be very happy or silly and share any of it here. Please come on back to us...don't even have to lose(if you fall off your plan)just be here with your friends.
The more friends and family here the better and you make it BETTER! It's so nice to see the name "Shelley" back on the forum here.
Hugs and double hugs and no more lurking. I am one to talk, I tend to crawl under the bed and hide from time to time. Billie even put a pic of me hiding under the bed, it was soooo funny! Wish I could find it again.
