Default Meds for SI Joint Pain

In the past 4 years I had a foramenotomy at L4-L5 and a fusion at L5-S1. Now I am experiencing a lot of pain in my SI joint. I have had SI injections and 8 weeks of therapy but the joint keeps slipping out of place. Anyone have experience with this and have you tried ablation or Platelet Rich Plasma therapy to get the pain reduced? Is there a good medicine to help relieve SI pain. Nothing I have tried has worked so far. Thanks.

You really should go to a pain management doctor who can try all SORTS of options for you. There are many options for pain relief in pain management. A pain management doctor is usually an anesthesiologist, so he knows about pain receptors, etc. He's been highly trained in that kind of thing. So that's your best option at this time, if you haven't been to one. They also use medications if other things don't work.

I hope you find some relief SOON. Please let us know what happens, will you? I wish you the very best of luck, as well as pain relief! God bless & take care. Hugs, Lee
