Default Bio met spinal pak/ bone growth stimulator

Has anyone wore the biomet spinal pak BGS for cervical fusion? Everyone else I've talked to had the large thing that goes around your neck. This one just looks more like a tens unit, but it's what my dr ordered. I looked it up and it's only FDA approved for lumbar fusion. Does that matter? I prefer it to something hanging around my neck, I don't think i could take the pressure, I still can't wear a bra strap across my shoulder! ??
