Default Fire in my legs!

Is this normal!? So far I don't have a diagnoses for my spine yet, still need an MRI, but I am laying here and my spine feels like it's being tazed and my legs feel like they are on fire. Almost as if the blood in my legs is lava flowing through them. If anyone else gets this (it also goes through my arms) what can I do to make it stop?! Suggestions please before I grab a fire extinguisher haha

I think I read that you had x rays showing the disks sitting on each other? the Dr should have followed up w/MRI after seeing that..

Usually well trained PTs can do "hands on" tests to locate and sometimes pinpoint the trouble areas.

I'd get hat MRI scheduled so the Drs will know what is going on.
(ask for a copy of the report to be sent to you)

If they decide the pain/symptoms do not fit with whatever the MRI does show when you get the results, then they may want to look into other things , perhaps CRPS/RSD.

I hope you are getting copies of all tests & reports in case you need to see many more drs..it's easier to have your own copies..

I think I saw fibromyalgia mentioned in another of your posts also..

I'm sorry I don't know what to suggest for pain relief at the moment..
Did PT places ever try a TENS for you? Or IF stim?
Do they have low level laser therapy?

Jomar is correct. Treatment is likely ineffectual without a diagnosis. Burning pain suggests peripheral nerve injury or perhaps RSD/CRPS (God forbid).

-I scheduled my MRI for August 1st. Someone called today to schedule my appointment for PT today. My paper just says "PT 2times a week, evaluate and treat, water and focused PT trial with modalities (TEN's trial)" Then they also want me to see a counselor for eating disorders but I'm not really willing to do that one. My chiropractor did the laser therapy and I didn't find it helpful. I keep trying to explain to my doctors that it isn't like a sore lower back with muscle pain. Stretching and massage doesn't work it actually makes it worse. With the other symptoms I'm having it just makes this whole ordeal even more frustrating.

I typically don't look online for answers but according to everything I've seen it seems like all of my symptoms fit MS. I am really hoping its not. My father is 52 and was diagnosed with it 3 yrs ago and the way I see him breaks my heart.

Who gave you the script for eval and treat? Sounds like it came from a GP. A specialist would send a script to PT with a definitive diagnosis, frequency and duration of defined treatment plan written out...

Go see a neurologist!

The spine specialist is sending me to PT. she ordered an MRI which I am having done next week along with seeing the neurologist the next day. So I guess we are taking all the right steps I'm just getting frustrated.
