Well today I ordered a new scale because it's jut so obvious that the old one is just plain lying.

Taking son to orthopedist today. Pray that he says his back is fine without surgery.

Hubby is home today so it looks like my day is full. Hmmmmm, I wonder if I can get him to take care of one thing on the honey do list???

Happy sunny day to all - I hope spring weather is beautiful where ever you are today.

I demolished some built in shelves at our back door yesterday - we are going to put up some of our old kitchen cabinets in the space. The open shelves just were a messy catch all for all sorts of things. Now at least we will be able to have the cabinet doors closed so any mess won't show!
I still have to prep the surface - lots of loose & peeling paint, then mud and spackle then new paint.

It's very empowering to swing a sledgehammer and knock down boards!
They had about 5 layers of paint so I couldn't even see the nails or screws- that's why the sledgehammer.

Hi all,

I'm back from sunless Minnesota. It was cloudy/windy every day except yesterday, when I left! I honestly can say I was sun deprived! But I had a wonderful time with the family. I saw 5 of my 6 siblings. (The 6th one lives TX. And I saw the young families of my neices and nephews and I had a nice long lunch with the Janster!!! She got along really well with my real sister so they may come out to see me together next winter!

I will post pictures of Jan once I get them out of the suitcase. I caught a nasty cold and I am exhausted from the trip so I'll be resting some today.

All in all I am really glad I went and, we may go back for Thanksgiving. Mike would like to see my parents before too much time passes as they are not well.

I missed you all and am glad to be home.

Hi all! Sorry so late today. I had my Radio Frequency Ablation this morning and yesterday Todd was home so no computer for me.
Just going to rest my back this afternoon and hope it doesn't hurt too much after the marcaine wears off. Which unfortunately is soon.
So just laying on the couch today relaxing. Hoping I can do laundry tomorrow but we will have to wait and see.

I'm here and not hiding. My house needed cleaning after all the painting. I am sending you a small example of the paint job. This is the front porch and it is bigger than it looks here. I painted two more porches also. I am fine, but this was more of a job than I should of done, naturely.

Think Gaye is getting her MRA today. Her hubby got real sick yesterday and they had a hard time finding someone to take her, as she is not suppost to drive with this dizzyness. Lets pray this shows the problem, but that she don't need surgery. She is wanting this vertigo to stop also.

I'm glad Nancy, you got to see Jan. We miss her so much! I hope she is well. I hope you told her we miss her on the forum.
