Default C5-C6 Fusion

Can someone tell me what this means and is the fusion most likely on its way to failing.

CT Scan C5/C6 Anterior Fusion: There is bone density within the cage, but a thin bony cleft is seen at the midportion of the cage, suggesting incomplete bony fusion.

This CT scan was taken 12 months post op.

Thank You

Ok, I found out what it is and that's a failed fusion. The bone graft broke apart. I just had another CT scan yesterday to confirm and picked up the report today. What's going to be interesting is why my original surgeon told me and noted in his report that the fusion has heeled and looks good. I would imagine he wanted to get rid of me as I also just found out I have a spinal accessory nerve injury that my new neuro said I probably sustained in surgery due to positioning (Stretch injury). Symptoms: Right trapezius atrophy, Right shoulder droop and scapular winging.
