Froggie here. Befuddled glad you are back!

I talked to Billie today and I sure hope I will be able to make the trip to her house June 7. I am still waiting for the doc visit to find out about tests that were made and now have to wait until next Monday to even find out about them. Oh my...I just wish it did not have to be like this. No pain relief...no way to know what to do to reflieve my situation. I am fighting depression and despair right now. I guess I am going to find out what patience are. Ha, never had any at all so this time I can't make it happen any faster. It is now over 2 months since my wreck and meanwhile I am still dizzy, in pain and hardly able to go with no hope in sight. UGH. If it is not the artieries in my neck that are messed up...i'm gonna go on to Billies. Sad that I don't have any help with pain. Oh well, I just can't give up hope.

I hope that with the test behind you that you can let go of some of the anxiety....I don't wait well either.
Even so wouldn't your doctor would be calling asap if something were really wrong that needed immediate attention. right?
I wish that you were not suffering, did they give you any pain meds to help?
Hope you are able to sleep thru the night dear lady.

good afternoon everyone, just got back from taking my son to physical therapy. It sure was hard to watch them giving back rubs when mine was screaming "rub me, rub me" Tomorrow I have my MRI's so hopefully I can get some answers and hopefully some ESI's and not s-u-r-g-e-r-y lol

So so on the big D or lifestyle change as I like to call it. I am down 5 lbs though. It helps to be able to swim as that is the only exercise i can do without hurting right now.

Hi Anne, I sure hope you can find some answers soon. Have you tried putting an ice pack on the back of your neck? Sometimes I just have to stop and ice down to keep going, in fact I hear an ice pack calling my name as we speak

There is so much pain all over it seems. My neighbor, Doug, that I have a crush on is in a lot of pain since starting back on chemo again. Sometimes I have a great deal of pain so I can relate. I hope you can make it to Billie's.

I have great news. I lost 3 pounds this past week.

BF2 Been following your post about the neighbor. I think you are doing the right thing. How'd the movie go the other night. And congrats on the 3 lbs.

Well I am donig ok. Was highly emotional today, think I am going to get my period soon although I am having some hormone difficulties as evidenced by some blood tests. So I have to get some mroe tests done.

The good news is on my diet from the end of March till now I was down 9 lbs but got 2 back because of the hormone fluctuations but doc says its water weight)

The awesome news....I have been so good on this diet and well I dropped my cholesterol...the bad cholesterol 60 points. Yee Haa and the edno did not think I would be able to do it without Lipitor and I have.!!!!

Thanks Bizi, I don't really have pain meds and am waiting for my medicare that will kick in July 1...then I can go to pain management and get some help. I do have a little bit of lortab and some valium but have to save it and make it last until whenever I can get some help. My doc doesn't even discuss pain at all...he is trying to just find out what is going on. It is just such a slow process and I am afraid I could be damaging my neck even more daily. I have had C-spine surgery and now my neck is really hurting me a lot and can no longer lay my head dwon or turn my head left at all without getting into trouble. I have waited so long and now I will have to wait even longer to get a NS appointment. Meanwhile..nothing helps and I get to the point of despair a lot of times. Should be thankful though it wasn't worse than it was. Trouble is, now I am hardly able to even go to the store and can't stand without getting dizzy or nauseas.

Sue I hope you get some answers too. I sure understand wanting answers and wanting some relief. I went through 13 yrs of pain, strong muscle jerks and sometimes full body jerks, doc thinking I was nuts, etc and now seems I may be starting back into another insane go-round. Then I look around and a child is suffering and others have far worse than I have and feel like a whinny baby. I will be glad for you if you can get relief.
I do ice, heat, biofreeze, have considered drinking something strong and I am a tee-totaler! Still I wonder if a little toddie would help! Hmmmmmmmm

There does seem to be lots of pain going around and I wish it would take a hike for everyone! I think we ALL need a rest!
Sounds like some of you are doing GREAT with the weight...me, well, I went back to eating again. stress does that to me and now I am wayyyyyyyy away from being the 199 I wanted to be. I am nearly back to 220 ohhhhhhh, I am ashamed to admit what I have eaten.

Shelley, you are going on that "d". Way to go.
Thanks for the prayer I can sure use it and need to step back up and get my faith going again. Seems when I slide backwards I really do a good job of it. If I could put more effort into being positive and not whinning I might surprise myself.
