Default Jared Diamond: Guns Germs and Steel on PBS (OT)
I just caught part of the first segment (of 3) on PBS. It is wonderful! Anyway, they were showing how agriculture came about, and where it came about and why did some parts of the world not advance (New Guinnea is used as an example).

I really want to see this entire thing, I think I'll have to rent or buy it. I missed quite a large chunk of it.
