Well I got a shocker yesterday. We don't have a full length mirror in the apartment so all I usually see is my face. Yesterday I went to the mall and bought some tee-shirts and was curious to see how one looked on. So, I got the stool I use in the kitchen and brought it to the bathroom to look in the mirror in there! I was absolutely in shock! I was huge! I couldn't believe it! I didn't think I looked that bad, but I was totally wrong. I have some serious diet and exercise work to do.
Did anyone have a shocker like I did? Well, I hope everyone has a great day! I need to really work on my "d".

Yep! Gained 14lbs in about 3 weeks and looked at my face last night, saw a round bloated looking "ole lady" looking back at me! I am a shock big time!! Sorry you got a shock too Wendy.

Yes I have had the shocked experience as well...did not see the 50 pounds gained until after a picture was taken of me....UGH!!!!

I don't like to look at myself in the mirror. I have a full length one in the bedroom. I have no waistline and that is depressing. Some of my skin is wrinkling like my grandmothers did too! I don't like to look at the inside of my arm. I am getting older & I bet the rest of your aren't! LOL

remember that episode on Seinfeld where Elaine buys a dress and gets home and it is huge? the skinny mirror episode?
I think most of the mirrors in my house are skinny ones except for the one on my bedroom dresser. Which is often piled up with clothes so I can't really see myself  .But when I clear it off I swear I look bigger than in all the other mirrors! I should keep it cleared off as incentive Plus it's a gorgeous antique dresser- I forgot the name of the style - 12 drawers, satin wood or rosewood, serpentine front, fancy curved legs.

Yes it does. my room is so small, I can't even have a dresser. My bathroom is close though.
