Heart Morning Nancy & all that follow~

So glad your back with us and all rested up, I hope. I always have to come home to sleep.

I am fine today and have been cleaning one bathroom. I'm getting ready for Gaye's arrival. Pinch me, I can't believe its happening this Thursday morning. Gaye is so excited too! Time is going fast now. I just pray her health holds up for the trip.

Had a great day yesterday too. After church, I went to a piano recital and really enjoyed it. It sounds like Bizi enjoyed her camping trip.

Well I need to get back to work, for I rest a lot and it takes forever that way. I hope you gals and guys, (if there is any) enjoy this beautiful day. Talk later.

after our sunny and quite warm week last week we are having some thunder and sprinkles- but fine with me , it was getting pretty dusty.
we're on a rock road.
Plus I like the trees and yard to be nice and green.

For some reason I have been craving food- I'm not even hungry but I feel like I HAVE to eat!! I can't even blame any meds for it.
Gained 3 lbs! must be a hormonal thing.
I haven't been taking my vitamins regular either so that is one step to do.

Raining like crazy here. Been sleeping most of the day. Gained 5 pounds but lost 2 of them. Again!
Not much to say today.
Have a great day everyone!

Default My Embarrassing Story

OK - so I need to tell you all about what happened to me at our friend's house in Phoenix.

It was Sunday before Memorial Day and they had planned a wonderful barbecue with ribs and a brisket, etc. All my favorites. I wasn't feeling to well as my PN and my neurogenic bladder were acting up. Right as the guests arrived (some neighbors) I went in and used the bathroom. But when I flushed the toilet, I had a big surprise!

The toilet started gushing water out of the top. Like an idiot, I picked up the lid over the tank and water squirted out all over me. Then I looked down and the water was coming out of the toilet itself. I started to yell for my husband (I hadn't finished pulling up all the way and now I was soaked.) but everyone was out at the pool. My husband's best friend, the homeowner, heard me scream and opened the door and there I was. I must have been a sight. It was a good thing my shirt was a long one but he said, "Oh my God" and seconds later my hubby came in to help me.
Bless his heart, he got it all cleaned up and then came into our bedroom to deal with me as I was hysterical. I took half a Xanax and fell asleep and missed the whole party.

So that was the excitement in our trip and something I never want to repeat!!!!

Later...
Nancy

At my sis's house hubby used the toilet and the tank or water line broke- water was gushing all over the bathroom and flooding it!

luckily he is pretty handy so he got the valve turned off and we had most of the mess cleaned up before anyone woke up- lots of soaked towels though.

I just HATE water messes. They are the worst to clean up. I just cannot fathom what it must be like to clean up after a hurricane. I live on the desert and when it is windy, we get lots of dust in the house. But that's easy to wipe up. Liquid spills are terrible and plumbling problems are, like I said, the worst. No wonder plumbers make so much $$$$$.

Nancy I think they all have turn off valves. Mine does I know. I have already got water on the floor once from it. The valve is usually in back of the toilet and just turn it tight until the water don't flow.

I heard a terrible crash in the spare bedroom today, and my doorbell rang. I couldn't tell which door it was, and by the time I got there no one was around. Well, later I was in that bedroom and noticed the ruffle of a curtain on the floor. Someone has hit my window and busted it with a ball, I would guess. I bet they don't come back either. I went to the door quickly, but was far away from it, when this happen. Great, something else to fix and no man around.
