Heart Hot Monday~

I've been up a while, but have a doctor appointment shortly. I hope I don't get into it with him. After he wouldn't write me a script for a brace, I had another Dr. do it for me. Then I didn't take my blood pressure twice a day like he told me to, nor check my sugar. He may tear into me, but I can stand up to him if I need to. There are other Dr's around, if I need one bad enough.

I hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was average. My golf cart quit on me and we don't know what the problem is. I'd say it has to do with the charger, but I am no machanic. Will have to have Mark take it someplace and get it checked out. He is working the graveyard shift this week, so it will have to wait a few days.

Hope you all have a good day! Its hot and dry here.

Morning gals! Well I went a little crazy cooking yesterday. I made kelbasa in bbq sauce in a crockpot, banana bread and baked chicken. On top of that I did the dishes. I had a little manic session but after that I was okay.
Well Todd's car broke down at the track on Friday so he has to use my car again. He has to have his car towed to the garage to have it looked at today. He tried to make me do it but I asked him when his car was my responsibility. We have AAA Plus so towing is no biggie. I just feel that since it is his car, he has to get the car to the garage and not me. Heck, I am doing enough by giving him my car again. He looked a little peturbed but it is his car. Am I wrong? Just because I am home it is not by choice....he's taking my car!
Okay enough venting.
Have a great day everyone!

I am eating my head off! Can't stuff enough into my mouth so I guess you might say I am out of control. Oh well, Don's people think fat people are awful and boast of being slim all the time' so they can just enjoy my "fluffy body" to make fun of, in July. We are going to a reunion in Tennessee. Ha, I might be a bit fluffy but they are all full of WRINKLES! Hee, hee! Froggie

I have not lost anything. Doc made no big deal out of it tho. All my test from last month were great. That's a plus for me. I need to be more active and I know it. I went on to Goodwill. Got 3 dolls. One very small one. Thats something new for me to collect, thinking they will take up less room. Anyway it helpped pass the day away and I do enjoy doing it. No great bargans tho.

Gaye, I'm glad you are going to Tenn. with hubby. It will be a good trip for the both of you.

Wendy, You done the right thing. Let him take the car to be fixed.

Well I better go. I have rested a log time now. Have a good evening!

No Wendy, I am going to let my nephew figure that one out. He is working third shift this week, so it will wait till they come and mow. I don't want to bother him, knowing he has a hard time sleeping anyway. Guessing i would say it might have to do with the charger. It has all new batteries so it has to be something on that order. I was hoping not to have to put more in it this year, but I may have to. Mark has 2 brothers that are machanic's, so maybe it won't take to long.

I found out this afternoon that my sweet little Paulie the Parrot died over a month ago. My cousin just didn't want to tell me because she knew I would be so sad. Poor little fellow was so sweet and I sure loved him, wish he could have lived longer. It broke my heart when I had to give him up but that is just water over the dam now. Now I wish I had not spoiled him so much. I know he was just a little bird but what a bird he was. Actually he was a trip and very smart and the best part was that he called me Mama! I'm just so sad. Yet now he is free from missing me and wondering why mama gave him away. Gaye

AWWWWWW! Not Paulie! I think he missed you. I hope that he didn't suffer much.
I will be thinking of him for you.

Yes, Paulie was a sweet bird. Gaye had just called me and told me, but I didn't want to be the one to mention him, as he was her bird. I am sure she will miss him and in case you never seen him, I will put a picture of him on here. Keep your chin up Gaye, as I know you took good care of him and he will be missed.
