To make up for my disappearance yesterday, I am starting RC very early today!
Todd was home from work so I had to fight for any computer time that I got. Unfortunately it was mostly checking my email and going to the job website to see if any new jobs posted that I could apply to.
As usual I sent out a bunch of resumes. I did get one email back asking to set up an interview and realized the company is TOO far away for me to drive in heavy traffic. I wasn't thinking when I sent in the resume. I'm just not going to send an email back and the man can move on to the next candidate.
Well that is it for now. If I can get online I will try and visit later!

I hate to be a wet blanket, but I don't like to see the holidays come. Not that Bob & I even did much but with my folks we went to a carnival and fireworks that night. The worst thing was to see all the drunks there! I could go for its not far away but by myself, I just doubt it. I do have a cousin in that town, but I doubt if she goes either. We are planning a day together Monday and I may ask, but not getting my hopes up. She actually lives close to the park where it all takes place. Our town has fire works the following week. That makes it nice, for everybody comes to town. I know a good place to watch them to, not far from here. I probably will go to our fair.

Hey I got my golf cart running again. Bear and I had a good run on it last night. It sure cools you down on a hot night. We are getting a lot of rain, wish I could send you some. I know Gaye is wanting rain bad and maybe Nancy too. It is in the low eighties here.

I'm having company tomorrow, so I better plan a meal and clean the house.

WE had a great time and terrific seats!
Concert was awsome.
Stewart Copeland (the drummer) was just fantastic!!!!!
The opening band included Stings Son on lead vocals and base....they were fun as well. They started playing at 8 and the concert continued till 11pm after 3 encores!
WE stayed at a hotel close enough to walk to the arena.
Everything was just great until the guy right next to me lite up a cigarette. I told him that he could not smoke in here then said I was allergic to smoke and he then pouted got drunk for the entire rest of the concert....sat there and glared at me...I tried real hard to ignore him and did for the most part. Toward the end of the concert he ended up smoking twice again...this perked him up a bit.
What an idiot!

After the concert we walked the french quarter and had to have a couple of Pat Obrians hurricanes...to share.
Went to Mothers restaurant for a huge ferdie with cheese(ralph) poor boy sandwich, Beignets with cafe au lait at Cafe de monde in the quarter.
Spicy red beans and rice and rabbit sausage jambulyia and seafood gumbo for lunch.
Our trips are always about the food!
