Default Tuesday Roll Call

Okay somehow Monday's RC got lost in the mail and since I am up and at 'em so early again, I figure I would start today's.
I am still working on pounding out the resumes. Because of the holiday tomorrow, most people aren't working this week so its a no or slow response week. Hopefullly next week picks up.
I have a thread on interview clothes shopping....very depressing. But I am trying to calm the eating down.
Today I have to go and get my trigger point shots and then my doc goes to Egypt for 6 weeks. Ugh! He does this twice a year but this time I need him. I always get tight in the back when giving interviews, mostly because the chairs are not made for little me and are uncomfortable. Whatcha gonna do right?
Well, what are you all up to today? Plans for the 4th????

Hi Wendy,

I don't have plans for the 4th but I suppose I'll find something to do. I could go see my lady friend in the nursing home.

I can imagine this week would be slow for interviews and such. What types of jobs are you applying for?

Barb, basically its a mish-mosh of customer service/call center/administrative assistant type positions. My last position I was in front of a computer all day with little or no interaction with the outside world. So I want to go back to what I like helping people. You would think it would be simple enough to find a job like that but not nowadays for some reason. Well the search goes on!

I wish you great success Wendy. I have worked with the public in all of my jobs and I do say it is mostly nice. I haven't worked since 1996 though.

Hello everyone, back home finally. We had a great trip and I really enjoyed the ocean. Pretty wild there on Saturday but I was young once too.

We are leaving again for Utah in a couple of days to go fishing. Much more my type of vacation. Plus I will have hubby and kids with me. I will never take another vacation without my kids. Maybe without hubby ha ha but not without my kids. I missed them too much.

How is everyone doing? What are your plans for the 4th? It will be 115 here tomorrow so my plans will all be close to the pool. ...Sue
