Default Sleepless in Canada

I continue to have problems getting sleep, at least uninterrupted sleep. I was never a good sleeper, which makes me wonder if P.D. has been lurking in me for many years. As each year goes by I am less able to get a full nights sleep, most of the time it is in 3 or 4 hour intevals. Is it better to take something (yes another pill) to get some much needed rest or just go with the flow. If so are there any suggestions as to what works for you. Feeling dragged out and not sure what to do. It certainly has a big effect on the following day, especially when I have plans for events that require a lot of energy. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Hi Eve,
Your not the only one having sleep problems. I'm only sleeping 2-3 hours at a time if I fall asleep at all. I have been taking Lunesta to help me sleep. It works great but I ran out and am waiting for the refill to arrive (slow boat from China I guess). The Lunesta is expensive though. You might want to try Ambien CR, Temazepam, Zolpidem, or Sonata. These are the generics or normally prefered drugs accepted by most insurance for Lunesta and Rozerem I just found out.
It's terrible that we have to take another pill, but if it works it is well worth it to get some sleep.
