Morning all!
Well, to answer Shelley's question I will be out of their HQ in Orange (from it looks like downtown Orange) and staying at the Doubletree hotel in Anahiem. It is near the Block at Orange if that helps. I will be flying into Long Beach.
I will be flying out of Boston on Monday and Leaving CA Friday morning. To answer other questions, my title is Relationship Manager between Volt Support Services and Raytheon. I officially start at Raytheon on the 23rd but start working on Monday. I will be making sure that all of the contract people that Raytheon hires are being paid correctly, that the requisitions are filled or not filled and update the database correctly. Basically be the point person on the East Coast for Raytheon.
Either today or tomorrow I have to go and buy a suitcase and travel size toilettries.
Well that is my update! PHEW! Busy day yesterday!
Now I have to rest until Monday....that is when it all begins.

Hi Everyone!! I m here in Indiana.!!It was a lovely but long 7 1/2 hour drive from near Toronto but we made it! Hubby is gone to work and I am playing and relaxing here at the Hampton. It is so nice getting awat from home and work for a while!! Hope everyone has a super day

Wendy we will miss you not starting up the forum. I guess you will be working 8 hours a day when you get started won't you? I bet you will loose some weight, not being home to eat! I think I am about the same. I am afraid to weigh myself again.

Just got back from Walmart and found a decent suitcase that will be easy for me to use and fits all my stuff for $28. Good deal! I have most of the clothes I will be wearing already packed along with all the travel size products I bought. I even have my meds all ready to go in my carry on. I refuse to put my meds in my suitcase. I want them on me at all times. Luckily I only have to take 4 bottles and the rest are in my little day by day med sorters.
Now all I have to do is wait. That's the hard part.

Oh yes they say to keep all important stuff {ID/cash/ meds /glasses etc} with you-in carry on
- do you have a large comfy purse/bag/ carrier for that - sizes are restricted too for the overhead compartments. usually the website for the flights will have that info.
I'd have a simple change of clothes in that too just in case.

but I've never flown - so i might be just paranoid

I have my purse.....they always allow that and don't count a purse as a carry on and a tote bag that I will carry a couple of books, snacks, my itinerary, and my meds. If they do count my purse, I can put that in the tote bag. Since I am so short I can never put anything in the overhead bins and usually just keep things at my feet. I have window seats both ways so the poor person at the aisle seat will be getting up tons so I can go to the bathroom.
Ugh I gotta wait 3 more days!!!

I am traveling up to indiana on sunday...we leave to visit our families on Saturday...takes 2 days to get to indy.
WE will be gone about 10 days total with driving time etc.
While there I will be doing a bit of traveling within the state. Indy, South bend,Indy, valparaiso and then south bend again back to indy. Hubby will be staying in Indy the whole time with his parents. Lots of driving!
Quick visit actually.
WE went to a water park today and my hubby got a case of vertigo, dizzyness and shaking and vomiting and he was sick as a dog...poor guy.
Shelley good to see you...I hope you are feeling some better?
