Heart

Hi Tena,

You know what, after I posted this topic I was thinking that you were probably going to come here and post, and your post would have been so much more lovely.

You have a beautiful and HUGE talent for Lovely.

I totally, TOTALLY loved the images that you made, the one of the yellow flowers, and the sky, I just loved them!!!!!!!!!!

Default Great video Tena ...

and a real can of worms "universal healthcare". As I see it we have three models, the US, (pay or pray), the UK's NHS (pay taxes, moan about it and then pray when you need treatment), and France's healthcare model, (pay a lot of tax, get US "private" style treatment on the state).

The NHS dominates UK politics and we haven't hit the balance between French level taxes and US type care. I now believe you either go all private (e.g. US) or tax higher for effective state care. The latter would be my preferred option, however persuading anyone to pay more tax is a nightmare and I will wait for the first US President to be elected on a higher tax ticket.

All in all a nation has to throw itself into universal healthcare for it to work, is the US ready for this ?

Good luck, makes me realise how lucky we are to have the UK's NHS (and I don't mean to be patronising or offensive here).

Once again, great video.

Neil.

Thumbs up thank you all for viewing!

Thank you ALL for viewing the video

- it wasn't perfect - I know I had a few misspellings sp? LOL!
I have been conversing sp?? with people who spell differently then we do in the U.S. for example ((the great Britts!!!))
who have taught me to spell: colour and advise, etc.
however
I was looking through the eyes of
a PD patient, and the hands are not so steady -
but maybe someday they will be...
Hoping for a cure for all!!

thank you to Micheal, Shelley, Neil, Steffi, Karen, and all the "thank you for this" - nicepeople!!!

That was so beautiful, Lavender! Despite the tragic story behind it and the sheer hopelessness of the situation around health care in so many countries, I enjoyed your little film. I especially loved your personal photos - you were an uncommonly handsome family - and the background music by the Isley Brothers and the Five Stairsteps was a wonderful choice.
Hugs
