Hi Everybody! How are you all doing this weekend? Its raining here in Indiana. I'm shooing it the Georgia. Gaye is always wanting rain. Its so wet here the tree bark has turned green. We can't even get the grass mowed! It rained yesterday too.

I have been running today too. I gotta stay home this afternoon and try to get something done.

Hi Nancy! Shes been gone again, and I sure missed her. Anytime you don't post, you are sure missed. If you take the time to read, please come in and tell us about you. You are always welcome!

Hi everyone, doing so so for now. Sorry for being a downer but wanted to say hi. I have been eating alot of comfort food but I am going to try to get back with the healthy eating.

My son left for his sea cadet training today and I won't see him for 2 weeks. It will be very quiet around here and I will be lonely with all that happened the last week but with Gods help I will get by. ...Sue

Hi,

It's raining in Colorado and the air smells so good. I've been catching up on some things around the house and mainly having a lazy day. I am still amazed at myself for feeling so productive by doing the simpliest things.

I have been feeling physically better and the nerves affected by the Tarlov cysts have not been firings for a while now. It is such a relief to not be in pain. I am taking life easy and enjoying the moment: living life one now at a time.

Blessings to all.

Hi Kiza,
I read briefly about your pain relief...and something about meeting with a specialist about your cysts...how did that go or has that not taken place yet?
WElcome to the forums...it is rather quiet here on the weekends...

Heart Hi Kiza~

It is so good to have you join us. You sound so cheerful. Yes, it is good not to be in pain. The rain bothers me, however. It has stopped for now, and is suppose to be gone for a few days. It is nice to see the sun this afternoon.

Have a good day!

Bizi & Fancylady,

Thank you for your warm welcome. I really like NT and all the caring, supportive people I've found here.

It's been kind of scary having an uncommon health issue, one even my NS doesn't know much about. There does not seem to be an established protocol for Tarlov Cyst treatment and my doctor is checking to find the latest information.

I will not be having surgery or other treatments except pain management at this point. I'll be seeing another NS specialist at the suggestion of my first NS. I was nearly overwhelmed with the thought of the what-ifs and risks of surgery and am actually relieved my first NS was against the surgery.

It has helped so much to communicate with others, especially now that I am on line and don't feel so isolated.

Blessings,

kiza

Thumbs Up WHEW! It's finally finished.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Husband and I are finally finished helping our grown son move into a house with his g/f. It's one that her parents own and had previously rented to others, now renting to my son and their daughter. We have been the whole month of July helping the landlord parents with tearing out old carpet, painting everything from one end of the house to the other (including ceilings), replacing a tub surround, packing furniture, moving furniture, unpacking boxes once we got them there, and who knows what else. Everything is MOVED, now it's their job to finish deciding what goes where! ha ha I just know that hubby and I as well as HER parents are ka-pooped.
Hubby & I have recently gotten into birdwatching and finally decided it was time to invest in a digital SLR camera with a super zoom lens on Friday. We did manage to squeeze in a few hours to do some birding yesterday eve. which included 15 deer (two noticable with antlers) standing in one field, and a bald eagle sitting off at a distant tree.
I hope those of you with the M-F schedules have a good back to work day tomorrow and a wonderful week ahead.

welcome corky bird,
I like to go birding on occasion we have a lot of birdies that frequent our feeders too.red headed wood peck and the red bellied ones too, yellow shafted flickers, wrens, thrashers, humming birds, purple finches, sparrows and cardinals and jays chicadees and squrirls of course.
We feed the wood peekers compressed corn and on a screw and plank of wood, squirrls eat that as well. We truly do have a feeder that is squirl proof!
and they do't like saffflower seeds either so it is busi at our feeders almost all day.
