Morning all!
Well yesterday was a rough day. Because of the typical wacky weather in MA, I got a Migraine. I tried to work through it all day but about an hour before my day was over I just couldn't do it anymore. I threw my hands in the air and gave up and went home early.
I went to bed with it and I woke up with it today. If I could be on an infusion on ibuprofen, tylenol and caffiene I would be. Its the only things that stave off the pain.
Well, I am here and I am going to make it through the day if it kills me. I don't want to seem like such a slouch on only my second week at work. So wish me luck. Hopefully this front hanging over my part of the world will shift one way or the other and the headache will go away today.
Nancy, glad to see that you are back. You are just going to have to read up on my month long adventure.....its been a busy one!

I gota new cast put on my hand and of course being froggie...i choose frog green! i have some little frogs to put in the holes of my clogs to go with it!


wish i could say i am losing but alas i gain a little weekly. ugh!

billie will be here to visitus on thursday and i am soooooo glad.

I have been seeing less and less of my friend with the cancer. He's not doing well and his roommate I suppose could do better but then again I'm sure it's hard on him also.

Good morning all, we had a nice lightning and thunder show last night. I love those by the way.

Getting back into the routine of healthy eating, I ate so much comfort food the last week but have not weighed lately...maybe on Friday I will.

My right side is really acting up. I have been hurting plus a bad headache but hopefully it will pass soon. Other than that whine I am doing ok.

Hi Nancy, welcome back. We drove through your town and I can't believe how far it spreads out now. My sisters and I are talking about doing a weekend get away next month. I will let you know. Our birthdays are in July and August so we try to do something fun together.

Hi Billie and Gaye, Billie I hope you get to feeling better before your trip. Hi Gaye, how long do you wear this cast? They didn't let me pick a color when I had mine...probably because I was knocked out ha ha

hi befuddled, i had surgery on my rt thumb due to it being bone on bone in the joint at the base of it and have 2 pins in it. just got my second cast cause the fist was too little. that is why i only use sower cqase letters...ha..it is easier!

i have to wear the cast until august 13...then they take out the 2 pins and he said cst it again. surgery was bigger than i thought. eek! doesn't really hurt though..just hard to get a bath and do house work. that is the good part, don is now having to be mister mom and will understand what we women have to do daily. hee, hee!

I had to go to a meeting tonight about end of life care. It is part of the training for Hospice care. It sure brought up memories I'd rather not think about. That will be part of my job though. I hope I can see this threw. I know how important it is for a family. Its just getting confident that I can do this, is the big problem now.

I hope the rest of you had a good day. Mine did get better as the day went along. I hope this arthritis lets up soon.

Thank you Sue and all else. Sue I do hope you and everyone else with pains will feel better. Today my lower back hurts and I have an awful headache on top ot it.

Doug went to hospital yesterday but has been discharged. I don't know why because they told me they were going to put him in a room. I called 1st thing this morning.
