Help Help! Anyone Know a Good Ortho in the SFV in LA, CA?

my daughter, "grace" (OK, chelsea...) fell down some stairs fri. night outside a party she was at and broke her ankle in two places (ouch! is right--).

the ER doc splinted her leg to hold her over the weekend, but we need to find a good orthopedic surgeon this morning to put a cast on it, to stabilize the whole mess. she is just miserable, as she will not be able to work either of the jobs she loves for a while, has to file for short-term disability and is feeling i would imagine a bit sheepish on top of it...

we are in the sherman oaks area, but anything near encino, tarzana, north hollywood, reseda, even bel air would be awesome.

thanks you guys. i just hate going into a new doc cold. the only ones i know specialize in cervical issues.

and since my so-called "cervical issues" turned out to be a raging case of TOS, so how good could those guys have been in the first place, i ask you?...

hmmmmm

Alison if you don't get any suggestions/names soon -
try calling the local PT places to ask who is the best Ortho around and see who's name comes up the most.
Good luck to you and daughter.

ps I'll fix the title for you.
