Oh, Dorrie! Have a marvelous time!

I'm sickening jealous! I can't camp anymore and I miss it so!

Where are you going? This weekend we are going camping, just a short one, but still it's fun. We're going to a state park in Mi. It's been raining since Sunday morn & it's now Monday afternoon. Rain is predicted till Friday. The camp is near Battle Creek, I hope the rain stops. Have fun on your trip!

Speaking of camping...can I tell you something? It happened a couple yrs. ago. One morning I was sitting at home & it looked like it was going to rain, so I went out to our popped up, pop up to make sure all the windows were closed. When I opened the door I saw some guy sleeping on one of the beds. (I didn't wake him.) I went in the house & called 911. The police came & took him away. I cleaned the place afterwards & threw away the dustpan on the counter, that he left poop in.

How kind of you to allow him the few extra minutes of rest before you made sure he was provided 3 squares and a warm bed. He probably even got a bus ticket out of town. That's what happens around here. If transients hit the right town they can almost make it across 3 states without much walking.

I prefer my Smith & Wesson 4006 (duty weapon) instead of a dog any day. I have a tendancy to spoil dogs so bad that if I had an intruder they would show him where all the good stuff was just as long as they left the couch alone.
