Default Hello from the Home Counties

Me:

Strange facial pains - maybe trigeminal neuralgia, maybe atypical facial pain, maybe something else.

Partner:

Hypothyroidism (and suffering badly) plus vascular, neurological and muscular problems (maybe thyroid related, maybe not).

Been dipping in here for ages as a passer-by - now decided to register and be able to post. I have found so much useful and interesting "stuff" here, I would like to contribute back. Thanks everyone who has already unwittingly helped us.

We live in Buckinghamshire (north of London), England. Too far from the sea but quite nice countryside.

I don't really have much time for hobbies but we do (or at least used to) go tramping out to photograph some of the hundreds of mushrooms.

Have spent far too much of the past couple of years feeling that we are compensating for doctors who have failed to diagnose partner.

Anyway - enough for now. Sure to be reading a lot more here in the future.
