Book Memory Tests

http://www.icn.ucl.ac.uk/facetests/index.php
Vison, Memory and Face Recognition
  • Prosopagnosia Research Center
  • Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, UCL
  • Department of Psychology, Harvard

I just did this and was really surprised at how shockingly badly I did on 2 of the tests.

Please note their "Privacy Policy" as they ask for username and email address and basic area.

It's pretty interesting!

Don't forget to do it later, Curious. lol

I only did well on the test where you needed to say the names out loud. That was an easy one for me because that's how I tend to remember names anyway. They were all descriptive names so it wasn't hard to get a visual impression while both viewing the word and saying it out loud. The other two, the glasses and the faces... I did very badly. Worst on the faces.

Jo, I did see some other way of doing the keying of the numbers but unfortunately I forget what it said. True though... I think you could do it using Shift and another key (maybe Ctrl?) but not sure.

Alffe, don't be too afraid although memory loss is scarey to me.
I used to have an excellent memory, but it's been in decline for a couple of years.
