Hello - I am interested in vascular OTS or Paget Schroetter synbdrome, and who might be capable surgeons in California for this problem.

Hi Althea,
Did you mean vascular TOS?
Paget Schroetter Syndrome, a subset of TOS

What is Paget-Schroetter Syndrome?
This is the name given to the clotting of the subclavian vein (beneath the collarbone) which results in pain, swelling, blue discoloration, and congestion of the arm. It is most commonly caused by compression of the vein between the collarbone and the first rib, and is considered one of the venous manifestations of TOS.

come on over to our TOS forum -

Hi Althea,

Welcome to NT. We have a pretty extensive and knowledgeable TOS forum.

I see that Jo already gave you the links. I am TOSer and live in California.

What part of California are you in? Maybe I can recoomend a doc. We have sticky's at the top of our forum page with a listing of docs.

We are also having a TOS get together at the beginning of November in SO Cal and would love to have you.

I hope you find some usefule information and look forward to seeing you around.
