I just got work from Georgetown University Hos. that the insurance co has approved the trial scs. I'm so excited. they will put in the trial, and if all goes well, they will remove the trial and about 3 weeks later will insert the perm. they are going to put leads in for both legs. I'm also doing ok with the block I got Mon. I didn't think it was working, but when I got up this morning I noticed that the swelling was down, and the color looked better. I put on the matching shoe that I normally wear on the bad foot, and I could walk. it was the first time that I was able to put a shoe on in almost 6 months. Yeah.....

That is fantastic news, I really hope that the scs will help you. What sort of scs are you getting?
I'm so happy that the nerve blocks worked a bit for you, that is brilliant news. Hopefully you will be back to normal in the near future. Pain free hugs Alison -x-

 Congratulations Mary, firstly that the block seems to have worked and then that you have been approved for a SCS. Hopefully you will have lots of good news for us coming up. Cheers Tayla

AWESOME!! I'm SO pleased for you Mary - I REALLY hope the SCS works brilliantly for you - you really deserve it to work for you. Congratulations on wearing the shoe that is so brilliant! it suggests the block did work.
