Default Hi all

Hello I'm a definite newby. I was hoping you could help me
I recently had MRI scan on my lower spine, that highlighted fusion, disc degeneration and an herniated disc. I was aware of the herniated disc I had severe pain running all down my right leg. The other issues came as a huge surprise.

I didn't get a diagnosis; my bad. I never asked, I just said I'm in no pain at present, to which my GP said if pain returns she will refer to neurology.

I know my father suffered very badly with his back, I remember as a child his leg used to spasm at times when he's start to walk. Am I facing the same?

I have looked on the internet the term AS seems to be coming back. I have not been offered a blood test though, and the doctor never mentioned this condition to me. Should I ask for the blood test?

Should I be worried??

thanks for your time x
